Second Class (二等座)
Layout: 2+3 seats across, similar to economy class on planes

How to Buy Tickets
Boarding Flow
Arrive Early
Arrive at station 30-60 minutes before departure. Large stations can be confusing to navigate.
Security Check
Pass through security similar to airports. Bags go through X-ray, you walk through metal detector.
Check Boarding Info
Look for your train number on departure boards. Track/platform info appears 15-30 minutes before departure.
Ticket Check
Scan ticket at gate (QR code or barcode). Keep ticket handy - you'll need it again.
Find Your Car
Look for car number on platform. Cars are numbered, find yours before train arrives.
Find Your Seat
Seat numbers are clearly marked. A12 means Car A, Seat 12. Store luggage overhead or at ends of cars.
